lowering an F4i

Can someone point me to the right place to post this thread? I need to know what needs to be done to my F4i when using a 2" drop in the rear. I lowered the front as low as I can to make it even without throwing off the geometry or hitting something but it is very bouncy. It also feels like I am bottoming out just sittng on the bike. I am 155lbs so I know that is not the problem. But is there a bump stop or something that needs attention or is that just how it is? Thanks in advance for all of the help.

On order, but what about the back end. Is that supposed to be bouncy like that. I mean its like riding my old hardtail.

Also I tried to soften the preload but that also did not help.

Thanks, I checked the rebound and compression. There is alot of tweaking going on there...but I think I am just about where I would like it to be. You guys are a big help. Bye the way, I have a lowering link in back but for the front I dont really want to leave my forks through the tree 1", Can I use straps or just leave it alone. Sorry about the newbie question, but American cruisers were my thing for 12 years, and not quite sure on the suspension setups for the sport bike.
Once again thanks all of you for the help, wish all of the forums I had used were this informative.

its not bad at all. rides pretty good as it sits right now. Twitchy, not really. Bumpy, sometimes. Maybe I am just used to the cruiser lifestyle too much and worrying for nothing. Bike is level though.
