I will never understand the mentality that makes a person think they cannot ride just because they have a baby.

"I just had a baby and can't use it to commute anymore."

Hard to carry a baby on a motorcycle. Safely.

Pretty good deal if the bike is clean (unscratched). It's got 19k miles, but mine is running just fine at 37k+. Seeing that one reminds me why I modded mine... looks horrid with black wheels, high bars, fender, and stock exhaust

Often it's the Mrs. that make that decision for the Mr.

Even if that's not the case, some folks just wants to focus on what's important in their lives. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I quit riding for 15yrs - my own prerogative - back when I was starting my career and family, because I just did not want the distractions. More than the riding part, it's another THING that takes periodic attention.

I have thought about taking a long break from motorcycles for several reasons... Mainly because of the monotony.. I have decided to get another bike to fix the problem... A dual sport... To get off the beaten path for a bit..

I got a motorcycle .. my newest motorcycle one month before my child was born. Last year. It's significantly harder to ride with him here....but my wife loves enough to let me I think most people do it because they need the cash. Babies are expensive. I'm just blessed enough to make enough. I dunno but I to don't understand the mentality of selling due to a child. My bike is my second baby
