Don't give animals away for free unless you actually know the person, atleast charge 50-100 adoption fee to weed out the people that have different intentions with the free pup

It's a common way for dog fighters to train their dogs. Get the free animals people can no longer keep and are trying to rehome and use them to train their dogs to be killers.

They won't pay an adoption fee when they can get free dogs all day long through CL or greensheet etc

Any number of things could have happened but most rescues/animal support groups will advise you to charge an adoption fee for this reason

We got a dog from another member here; I can report he is happily running around in about 4 acres.. chasing the fox around the shop for raiding the food bowl.
Just as goofy as the day we got him! LOL!!
