Yup. Seen alot of custom paint jobs use the perforated visor.
havent ever had the chance to look through one, but its supposed to be a clear view.

Yes, it's a 3M perforated film that is painted and then applied to the visor. It can be seen through much the same as a dark tinted visor, and shouldn't be worn at night.

if you paint it.. then it doesn't matter what it's made of....it is now as opaque as the paint...so maybe it's adhesive vinyl?

I think the visor part is a printed graphic...then the rest of the helmet is painted to match!!

Yep...that's how they do it.

From what I hear its similar to looking through a tinted sheild.

I talked to a buddy of mine who owns a sign company. He doesn't do the perforated stuff but knows someone show does. He didn't think it'd be a great idea to ride with all the time......visibility isn't that great. But I guess that's subjective....

so tell us....is actually painted on there...or is it printed on there....big difference! I seriously doubt someone actually "painted" that picture by painting hundreds of dots together.
