HJC RPS_10 Patriot

I'm looking into getting this helmet, I have a place that I can get it for a really good price. Does any one have this helmet? How do you like it? And, do they sell different colored shields?

I have a hjc cl 16, two of them. One whitr and one black. They make great helmets, I dont even care about my shoei rf1100 anymore. But the rps 10 is even lighter and ive heard a lot of good things about it. Im sure youll be happy with it

Yeah I've had HJC's when i used to ride motocross, my first street helmet was a CL-16, which is the one i use now. I'm just looking into getting a new one, and planned to stick to HJC, just a better one than the Cl-16. yeah, the rps-10 is soo light and comfortable around my head.

Do you have the stock shield? And would you happen to know if they sell colored ones? Because I know for some shoei's they dont have them.

Yeah, what the other guy said. I've had a mirror and a smoke. The mirror one doesn't last long. My Arai mirror lens lasted much longer

Yeah, that thing lasted barely 2 months. After the second lens I said it and stuck with the smoke.

HJC helmets are great. They do offer other shields. I agree with the mirror shield scratching easily.

Where is this place you mention.... ?

They've improved since the last time I wore them, which was over 10 - 15 years ago. I have the Lorenzo version and I love the lid. Not loud, good visibility and feels comfortable and solid. Use it for races only to keep it fresh.

Got it, and I do love it. It is super quiet and very light. Now I'm just waiting on my shield to come in.

Man...THANK YOU for this post. I have been looking for a "patriot" themed Red/White/Blue helmet and was saving my dollars for a super high end Shoei B-Boz2, but just did not want to spend $755 for a lid. This HJC is just as nice and I just bought mine on "clearance" from my buddy's shop for $250.00 I got his last one!
