I'm not paying for a membership... but if Fastline is there, I'll be there.
I've wanted that to be my first TD since doing parade laps there (being a noob, I don't want to ring it out a long straight and hard brake into corners). GSS was fun in a car, I "semi-know" the track/lines.
When TDs quit there, I couldn't decide between TWS (Texas World Speedway) and Motorsports Ranch... so I ended up doing neither.

I got the e-mail. It seams to be the same thing he was offering two years ago. If the guy wasn't known as flake, I would say it sounded like a fair deal. But he is, so I wouldn't give the guy a penny.

It used to be the other way around, but not any more. Welcome to the 21st century and the new conservative lifestyle.

Agreed

I've only watched a couple of TD's and did one parade session there. I'd have one more reason to try and justify buying a supermoto if this became reality.

If they ever actually get the rest of it finished I might even bring out the 1K.

I personally don't care for GSS. The track is small and the facility's are garbage... Just my opinion.

With that being said, you get what you pay for. This is why other tracks; msrh, msrc and ecr are still in business. Is their memberships more expensive? Yes, but, it's worth it! Facility's are nice, they're not going to screw you and you can ride a heck of a lot!

Even if GSS was trustworthy I seriously doubt some of the members here would cough up the 3500.00. Heck, if you are just pay another 1500.00 and get a membership at msrh. They have monthly dues but you get a lot more than GSS has to offer.

Just my 2 cents

If you read the offer from GSS you'll see your $3500 is for one year, or roughly $300 per month. MSRH is a one time deposit to join, then they take a monthly fee on top of that $250, plus $30 each day you drive.

Club Membership
 Initiation Fee: $ 5,000
 Monthly Dues: $ 250
 Daily Use Fee: $ 30

The real bargain is gulf coast karters at $300 per year, no membership fee, no daily fees, just a gate code to get in and you can ride unlimited. But the 175cc limit is...well....limiting.

Becoming a member of a track was the stupidest most financially irresponsible thing I ever did. Every time I think about it I kick myself in the .

With track days being $80-$120 it makes no sense to throw down that kind of cash for a membership. Not to mention a lot of tracks are no running their own track days even more reason to not buy a membership. Furthermore, you're at the mercy of management whether you're a member or not. Don't like what they're doing? Too bad. They have your money already.

I wish they'd let me sell my membership. I'd sell it for 1/2 of what I paid.

They changed it to $275 a month and no daily fee.

Reason to buy a membership at MSRH would be so you can ride whenever you want 7 days a week as long as the track is not rented out.

Last 6 months MSRH had 129 Member days.

This is no limit on how many member days a member can do at MSRH.
