That's crank HP...rear wheel HP is where it counts. I heard a lot of the guys racing the Panigale in the CMRA are switching to the BMW S. For avg Joe street rider, I would imagine it's not lacking much.

Haven't got to ride it more than like 20 miles.Just got the mirrors from Houston Superbikes yesterday.I didn't like the bar end mirrors it had at all.

Next I wanna get the fairings painted white and replace the Termi sticker I took off the can.It looked like something had landed on it and melted.Lastly the header piping needs to be ceramic coated. This bike saw cold weather and I think the snow made the pipe this color.
I like the white as you can see ....lol....good choice and will complement well your Ducati stable.....

how much could a bike be losing from crank to wheel? 0.5% ? It can't be that significant ( I really don't know )

The Panigale doesn't have the low end grunt like the Ducati 1198, but pulls a lot harder up top. With the bigger rear sprocket (+2) and revised mapping that Ducati introduced earlier this year, the low end and mid range are much better now on the Panigale.

Usually estimated at 5-10%. More for shaft-drive applications, which this is not. Cars can be in the 15-20% range.

Panigale is a sexy beast, especially in white. Congratulations!

Well I decided to sell the black/red HyperMotard to my friend.

To make my life easier I just went and got a from the factory white one.

Side bags are off in the pic but they did come with it and that's another reason I got it too.Always wanted to do some bike touring and this will be a good start.

Lunsfords has been good to me and didn't fail me this time either.
