My 2013 Ducati Panigale ABS - follow up.

Just wanted to check back in about my recent purchase.

I had been out of motorcycling for about 2 years, last bike being a 05 CBR600 which I sold to invest in my biz.Now that I had decent money coming in I wanted to treat myself to a Ducati.Yes I was torn between 2 completely different bikes Diavel and Panigale.I ended up with the 1199 and here are my thoughts.

The GOODS...
Are everything possible. There isn't enough room on the internet to list them all.

The BADS...
Only one I can think of is not to get stuck in traffic or your right leg will be nice and crispy when you finally reach your destination.Well that and I HAVE TO be super extra careful about getting off it.Dont wanna scratch it in any way cause its too dam good looking.

I've bought many toys thru out the years and ALWAYS had a regret about something. This bike never lets me down when it comes to putting a smile on my face just looking at the dam thing.

If you can get one - you should.

Houston Superbikes did my 600 mile service yesterday and bike feels way better after bleeding the clutch line.

Only mods I plan for it are a Ducati black tank pad and CF exhaust shield.Aside from that I don't wanna mess with anything.

Oh and I do want a vanity plate but someone already has "ducati"

Ah didnt know you were there either. When I picked it up I was with my buddy that owns that Lambo. We were like dam these guys gonna be like look at these tire kickers wearing dirty shoes and tshirts. We had been working on some stuff earlier.

The clutch is so much better now! Getting on the freeway, clutching to 2nd,front end up real quick = instant clench but also koolaid smile.

Italians make some beautiful machines! I looked at the panigale S and the RSV factory; but I am one of those big Mexicans so the Italians are too small for me! They need to make bikes for plus size dudes too!

I put the passenger pegs and seat on,rode +1 and that was it.Never again on this bike.Ride wasn't bad but it doesn't look as sleek with the passenger pegs and thats a big no no.I'm gonna buy another more compatible Duc later.

IT looks great, but i hate teh ergos and it doesnt feel likea Vtwin anymore. Feels like a gimped i4. Id rather go RSV4 for a true italian beast.
