Casting: Motorcycle Street Racing Television Show

Major production company seeking motorcycle street racers from the Houston area for new TV show. Ideal candidates would be:

- Blue-collar adults with jobs and families
- Who ride American-made bikes that they work on themselves
- And like to throw down a little money on races

If you, your friends or someone you know might be right for the show, please email to introduce yourself at streetracingtvshow@gmail.com. As our company has done several shows about "illegal" subcultures in the past, we understand the need for discretion and know how to craft a fun, exciting television show that won't get anyone into trouble.

Sorry to use your board as a place to advertise, but this just seemed liked the biggest and best place online to reach Houston motorcyclists. I hope you don't mind!

All day bro...Does "American Made" mean a bike completely disassembled and rebuilt by a blue-collar, family man, True-blooded Texan like me?

Hey, to be fair, I think there are a couple of Buell owners running around the forums.

I don't think I've seen many "American made" bikes that were actively (and competitively) street racing though.

Exactly. Anyone throwing money down on races is probable going to be riding something other than a buell...the only thing I could think of is american only racing...but I doubt there are any street races going on like that.

"American made" and "street racing" sounds like an oxymoron, but certainly we have to give the nod to BUELL. A great, albeit limited, scope. Good luck. (and thanks to Eric B. for some great American innovations)

I think you'd get a much better response from people if you included all bikes. American made really doesn't stand a chance on the street against most bikes. I have a Harley but, it's not for racing lol. I'd love to be apart of this though if they made exceptions

What was the outcome of this? it ever happened?

The street racing scene is mostly sport bikes, Euro & bikes, never seen "American" (HD, Buell & Victory) bikes in the street racing scene.

To me this sounds like someone collecting information for non-disclosed purposes

A television network lobbying on local message board advocating illegal street racing? Phh, sounds pretty legit. Way to promote safety you f***ing moron...
