To the OP I'd file a hit and run against the riders. tell the insurance that you didn't even know about it until you got home.

Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2500 South Freeway (South State Highway 288) about 8:20 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 1).
The male victim, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer S. Tran reported:
The victim was operating a white Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on the South Freeway and failed to stay in a single lane. The motorcycle then struck the rear of a white Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck. The victim was ejected and died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Op states that there was a silver car and that he was driving a truck with damage. Sounds like the op is actually the one that got hit...just saying.

I'm thinking the same thing .

I'm just now catching up because I didn't check the news on Sunday and I was traveling yesterday, so I mistakenly reposted this article today. From what I read in the article though, I'm wondering; how is it that the media/report mentions a white truck, yet OP hasn't mentioned to have been involved although he seems to have been?

Why do you think the OP was driving the white Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck? He said "two of these guys looked like they brushed me."

Hopefully the telling of it like it really is will get the attention of a an individual who is considering riding like an , and keep them from doing it.
Stupid is, and will be, and we should never call it anything else... this guy died stupid.
I agree 100%.You don't have to respect anything or anybody, I personally would just keep some things being said to myself.. Guess everybody has their own views on this topic and these are mine. bad mouthing the recently deceased just because they made a stupid mistake just seems foolish to me.

IMO its only a stupid mistake if you just involve yourself. When you start hitting other cars and endangering the public ... you have crossed a line that I know I can not respect. You want to mishandle a gun and shoot yourself in the foot .. go for it. Walk around a group of people waving a loaded gun and you deserve to get shot (my analogy) He was riding a loaded gun in public going 100+ weaving in and out of heavy traffic ... only bad things happen and it happened .. no sympathy here.

As opposed to riding a motorcycle in an out of control fashion?
