did not say useless just saying a 600 is plenty of speed on the streets i mean seriously???? I mean I like my 1000 and all but i NO way am I saying that a 600 would be to slow for me.

me neither...!!! But, then some people enjoy having more power than necessary at their disposal (quick bursts of outright speed!) So, unfortunately I see it from both sides. I like ridiculous power (i.e., litre bikes) but also know 600's can do plenty of damage on the streets!!!!

Too much power at the wrong time & wrong skill level can be a deadly combination.
I love my R6 and until I'm better than the bike, I won't upgrade. My .02
