An awesome movie

Children of Men
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0206634/
for the cinematic types.

i wouldn't normally make a thread about a movie, but i figured what the since i'd never heard of this movie except a few recent previews on TV.
imho, it's probably one of the best movies made in a long time.

i noticed the long sequencing also. pretty impressive. i especially liked the part with the dirtbike chasing the car. the rural imagery and opera music sort of reminded me of 28 Days Later, which is another movie i like.

watched it this weekend too, thought it was pretty good. Michael Cain was a trip..."Pull my finger..." what tripped me out was how realistic the birth looked.
