Sorry I didn't make the ride guys. After working about 1,000,000 hours last week, including Saturday, I over-slept this morning. I did go for a ride later today to try out the clothing I had planned to wear, and it was quite comfortable.

Hope there will more rides soon.

yea I didn't quite wake up this morning either. And when I did, it was cold and I didn't have the motivation to go freeze my gnards off.

Right now weather channel is showing this whole next weekend-Friday through Sunday will be 60-70 and no rain, so it should be good. So let's do something. I don't know the roads to lead the charge here, but I'm down

Not sure, maybe 351fox? Cookie monster was on the red SV, I believe. This is where he said he got the helmet cover.

Great ride today!! I got way more comfortable with my bike. Was so pumped though I filled up and rode to Clear Lake and ran into the kid with the Ducati again lol. then rode my happy back to Katy just in time to catch a little sprinkle.

Picked up some glove liners from Cycle Gear which are on sale for 10 bucks. HUGE difference!!

Fun ride today but we missed the group pic outside. Afterwards we did hit a wet and gravel-filled 3090. All in all a great day nonetheless. Next time, electric heat gear for sure.

It looks like a fun cold ride ,that's the time of the year.
Any reports on the status of 3090? Is it that bad with gravels?

Not when it was dry... Was slower pace so didn't feel them on my new q3s. Bad tires!

Glad the ride went well. I tried to catch up with you guys in Montgomery, but you had already went through I guess. The BMW guys showed up so I started following them through the forest and wimped out because I was shaking so bad...LOL...I need some better gear for cold riding.

3090 is pretty bad with gravel unfortunately. I have paint chips and if it weren't for my three layers I had on my legs, I'd probably have whelps or bruises. It's especially bad when you're passing cars.

If you're going to do it, don't be behind someone OR give a TON of space.
