What is it worth?

My bike was stolen back in January then recovered a few months back. It's been sitting in a storage unit on account of a lack of time and space to work on it.

The windscreen is cracked, paint on the nose is scuffed, the tank has some dings where they pried open the gas cap, all the locks look like they went through a prison rape, the control levers are broken the front rim is the wrong rim (I have the correct one) there's no disks for the front brakes, and the wiring harness is jacked up so it will turn on, but not start.

I would like to get 1000 for it, is that completely unrealistic? It does have a Corbin seat, Delkevic exhaust, and a clean title.

I'm failing at attaching the pics apparently, and yeah I guess the fact that it's a 2004 SV650 with 35k would be useful info.

That's why I was hoping $1000 wouldn't be too far out of reach, I figured the frame with clear title was worth half of that figure. Either way, thanks for the feedback.

1000 is a good price IMO i have an 08 with 32k these bikes get rode hard and put up wet it seems, but yours looks in pretty good condition over-all for being a recovery although damage is not highlighted in the picture you took, i may hit you up just to have some extra parts hanging around these bikes are bullet proof,

have you got yourself something else? or? just tired of the sv?

The damage to the outside is pretty minor. I can take some detailed pics if you are interested. I figure I can drop the grand on down payment for something else that is already running. Also every time I roll the bike out of storage I get off all over again.

would be smarter to get it running then sell it. u might get more $$ than parting it out maybe not but u will get it all at once instead of waiting months

Someone with too much time needs to buy this bike, buy the wrecked SV that i've been too busy/lazy to post up... combine the two and sell off the parts.

, I think I'd go $1k on it... mileage is a little high, but I've got a spare wiring harness, front rotors, just need to figure out the locks.

I bought an entire lockset on ebay for ~$140 when my 650r was stolen.
Seat lock w/ cable, entire gas cap, and the ignition down to the connector... with 1 OEM key.

lol... I was gonna offer the bike back to you (well... not offer... but give you first dibs lol).
Yes, tank is untouched... we just need to decide exactly what we're gonna do with the bike.

I know, I really wanted it too.

Well, if whoever bought it is interested, I've got a complete wiring / FI throttle body setup from an '03 sitting on a shelf, and will have all the front end components as well here pretty shortly, as my brother is putting a GSXR front end on his '05.
