Perhaps a bike downgrade would help while your skills...mature. Not talking , but maybe a dirtbike/dual purpose or star or gz 250 would be good. Small, forgiving bikes that will allow you to focus on your riding skill. Just a thought, man. I'm not going down the "that's too much bike for you" route, simply saying that taking out the sportbike handling, brakes and throttle response might allow you to focus on the baseline skills.

You crashed on one of my rides. You are the main reason I quit posting faster rides. You started that day off over your head. I told you it was a fast paced ride. You said you had the experience. You went down within the first 20 miles trying to keep up with faster guys in the twisties. You were your own worst enemy. Without knowing what happened in your other crashes my advice is to slow down, stick to noob rides, and get some more experience.

Exactly. There was a noob ride that same day and OP was posting on that thread about how he wanted to go fast. Then he came on my fast ride and wrecked.

Just do like 15 trackdays. You'll be fine. You'll learn a lot of basics in level 1. I had a couple months of riding experience and learned a lot from the level 1 class

Idk why that one dude is saying they don't teach basics in level 1 and teach advance techniques, because they just teach the basics

Maybe he just needs some private 1 on 1 street time with comms. Track is all memory, and seat time. Things change on the street and it's best to error on the side of caution. Just trying to help the op.

I have had only 2 real "accidents" involving another vehicle( one in contact, the other, no contact). Any other time, was just more of a bike drop, or doing stupid piddly . those don't count :P

Since I got back into motorcycles in 04 I think I've been on the ground 6 times. Most recently at ECR last month when I tucked the front braking into T6.

When you crash, use as a opportunity to learn what you did wrong. Crashing on the street is never good though, to many variables.

Umayr this dude is known by hector.....your full of it homie!!!! Now we all know why your slow...
Quit trying to get free track time selling ridesmart every chance you get....lol. but really track days aren't to teach you basics. Oh well this discussion can get very opinionated. The man needs urgent training. Whatever way he chooses I hope he checks his ego at the door and listens to whoever is going to instruct him.

Umayr how do you have so many posts??? You csnt sit in front of the computer all day wearing full leathers on motohouston giving advice on topics you know nothing of....lmao. just messing with ya man...haha

One 1 on 1 session isnt going to help him.

He needs to build muscle memory, build better habits, understand his bike more and learn to look through a turn. Thats going to take a lot of time, so instead of trying to learn it with one session with someone off a forum I would say go to the track. Go to ridesmart or whoever but they all have great instructors that are far more knowledgeable than most the guys posting in this thread

I have a set of comms that you can borrow for the free street session. Joebert1 helped me, so I'm trying to help.

Wouldn't let me edit. 20 years daily rider. Correction...3 get offs at speed. 1 contact, 2 no contact.

1 hitting a comercial van (not at fault , due to other vehicles and placement)
1. rain/mud while in curve/corner, no contact.
1. bother rider/ driver at fault, but no contact between vehicles.
