Depends on what you want it for. 1700 is pretty cheap... but the fact it has speakers and stuff is funny. 20k miles means you should prolly get the valves done when you get it... 3 - 500 dollars. so 2200 for a bike in decent condition seems fair. You can get new body work pretty cheap on ebay as well... due to all the 250s that got converted to racebikes.

I'd pass simply due to the dumbass speaker. Indicator of mental state of owner that probably relates poorly to the rest of the bike.

There are a lots of decent bikes out there for that price if you are patient.

Dunno about this one. A tinkerer for sure, which could be good or bad. On the one hand, looks like he spends more time working on the bike than riding it. Then again, who da heck knows what else he has buggered up.

Take somebody that know what he's looking at to go with you to look over the bike. But looks like you've owned an '07, so you should know, huh? It's an old design Ninjette. Everything on it is analog. If the rest of the bike checks out decent, then worth haggling I guess.

why buy it and only ride it for a month then sell when prices are lowest?
I'd keep looking.
