K8 gsxr 1000 no compression

I have a friend that recently purchased a storage lot at auction. It had a 08 gsxr 1000 motor complete with harness and ecu. He sold it to me for $80.00 so I could not pass it up. I just did a compression test on it and the results were:
Cy#1: 60 psi
Cy#2: 150 psi
Cy#3: 0 psi
Cy#4: 65 psi

Cylinder #3 is rotating so I'm guessing it is a head issue. Could tight valves really make it have 0 psi? I guess a valve could be stuck open.. or the piston could have a hole in it. Was just wondering about the valves, they are all tight and out of spec.
Anyone wanna buy an 08 gsxr 1k motor? Haha

Sounds like a bent/broken valve.
Did you run a leak down test?

Dont think i would swap my motor over a bent valve but who knows. I will pull the head and do a leak down test. Thanks for the input Patrick.

How many miles on the motor? Did you do a wet compression test?

Did you check the compression of each cylinder while the piston was at TDC. If not you could have checked it while the valves were open. By tight you mean little to no lash I assume. I can't see that yielding 0% unless the valvetrain was holding the valve open on the base circle. If you are running a leak down properly you can always listen through the intake/exhaust ports for the air escaping the cylinder. If you hear it there it's a valve issue. If not it's piston/ring related. Hope it's nothing serious and you scored a cheap motor
