BMX in Houston

Please sign and share. Need to save our trails and let BMX into the free parks. Houston is building the nations biggest free skate park and is excluding bicycles.

No, is he old? I have rode BMX but mostly pedaling where I could. Not a lot out there for BMX. I would have killed to have all these parks now. I mostly jumped curbs and found what I could.
The dirt trails are going to be plowed for retention ponds and then we will be left with nothing.

He is around 35. He was a heavily sponsored bad back in the day. He had a room full of elf and hawk bikes back in junior high days. Like 12 bikes. All given to him

To me bmx racing was what rich people did. Still seems like what people with money would do. All those parents buying their kids expensive bmx bikes to race.
I only recently made it out to the bmx race track after i dated a girl that was District champ or something like that. I like dirt jumping and ramps. Racing bmx seems like a lot of work, working out so I can ride my bike, not really.

I saw a old dude fall down at the races, he must have been 60 plus. I was like "why is he not getting up" " it was not even a real crash" he was wearing a lot of gear, then they announced how old he was.

Brandon's family was not rich by any means. I can see how somebody would get that impression, but that can be said for any sport. He had a dedicated father that took him to the track at every chance. Plus, we all lived within riding distance from the Pasadena track, so that helped. I spend many road trips with BT and his dad traveling in his wore out work truck (I quit racing at 16).

lol wut?

I used to race my k-mart brand bike back in the day and paid to race with my own hard earned money. I NEVER got that impression anywhere I raced. But I agree, it's a ton of work for just one lap. I always preferred dirt jumping, street and parks, though.

Dirtwood was the back when I still rode alot. It was funny when my buddy and I would show up on our mountain bikes there, too. Half the kiddos there would laugh until they saw what skills on a mountain bike can do at a park.

You had a dad? That must have been nice. And parents that gave a , that must have been nice. It would have been nice to live in a place for more than a year.

I am wondering if your poor and my poor were the same.

Hope all you guys took the time to sign. Help some poor kids get into the free park.
