Any N00b Friendly Rides Soon? Any ideas?

Just wondering how you can tell if there are N00b Friendly Rides coming soon.

Any ideas?

Does anyone know some "easy" rides for N00bs to venture out... like FM359 and such.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Just keep an eye on the events & rides section. Not many noob rides posted anymore for various reasons, but they pop up occasionally. I'll host one before the year is out, but I want to make sure that:

1. I'm not stupid busy, and
2. The weather cooperates. This weekend is going to be 60-75 degrees with a 30% chance of rain. Not terrible, but someone would come unprepared and raining at 60 degrees will be miserable and can take too much focus off the road.

If you want to venture out on your own, just pick a road and go. Google Yankees Tavern, memorize the route and take off. Don't worry about going "too" fast. Pay attention to you surroundings and make extra effort to see every speed limit sign on the road [both black and white (regulatory) and yellow and black (advisory, curves)]. Never go faster than 10-over either and you'll be fine. Just wear your gear and check your tire pressures before you head out.

I was out there last Saturday following my pops around and had allot of fun. I plan on riding out there again this Saturday, was going solo but if any of yall want to meet up that would be cool. Don't know my way around, planned on winging it and once I got tired following the GPS back home .
