Popped my 250 cherry @ msrh

Well, finally, I rode a 250

I was out at msrh yesterday getting seat time in for next season and Mark (bluepine) asked if I wanted to ride his 250. At first I was hesitant but then he said, COME ON, Mike!

I've never rode one of these so all of it was new to me. I almost crashed it a couple times because I'm not use to the brakes/suspension on these bikes. But it was a blast! When I took my helmet off I couldn't help but have a smile from ear to ear.

Thanks again Mark for letting me turn a couple laps on it and thanks Chris (chris5.0) for getting it ready for me.

No problem.

Yea it was also my first time. I had a blast on that little bike. I would do a full session and not be exhausted at all. I had fun chasing liter bikes and passing them on the track lol

The instructor was pinning it on his bike and mike was already topped out. The instructor barely passes him and then started to brake and mike out brakes him into s&s and passed him back lol.

As much as I would love to pick one of these up, I just can't. I have a lot of money and time invested into next year and that is where all my focus is at.

Maybe later down the road but not just yet.

250's are the . Wait until you get on the track to race only 250's - that's the single funnest thing I have done on a motorcycle.

LOL @ Mike...250's never fail to wipe preconceived notions off your face and replace them with an ear to ear smile. A whole season on a 250 is about the same cost as one big bike weekend.

I'll be bringing my 250 BRAWP track (everybody rides her) out to MSRH for the fastline mini-only short track session in a few weeks. Yee haa!! If anyone wants a turn, just look for the white #48 BRAWP bike.

Look over there <<<<< that's me having a blast on my 250!
