Pretty cool that you decided to make a thread about this, I follow these kind of thrrads and straight will ask you for things you do.

Are you going copletly stock/oem on every motor part you fix or replace? Ex. The gasket, I've heard people telling me about them splitting the head gasket to change the compression, I'd have done it on mine (a 929) but then realizing how many things you have to take into consideration (valve clearance and whatnot) I decided to go completly stock, just a lil polishing on the heads to make it smoother.

The head gasket that I'm using is thinner than OEM, but other than that, everything is going to be pretty much OEM. Except for maybe some cheap Chinese fairings.

$1000. I think it was an alright deal, but it's definitely got it's quirks.
