I'm not sure about the exhaust either. It just happens to be what's on the bike, when looking for an MV there really isn't too many options. Let alone finding an affordable one with less than 1,300 miles. Either I'll learn to love it or look for a factory set-up.

Most of the mv owners swap the factory 4 pipes out for the dual to save weight , arrow makes a few 4 pipe aftermarket for the the mv but they are pricey . I had the arrow rg-3 titanium and they sound pretty good

I actually bought this bike without even seeing it in person. I closed the deal yesterday, and I'm not able to pick it up until tomorrow early afternoon. The wait is killing me.

Very sweet,
Is this a track bike? It looks like it has slicks on and no tail or head lights.

Not a track bike. Just the angle of the pictures. It has lights.

Like any Italian sport bike, maintenance is very important. Not sure where you plan on getting the service done; but andy at Houston Metric is pretty much the man when it comes to servicing MV Augustas.

I was researching this very thing today. All indications are pointing to Metric at this point due to the fact it's pretty much in the same area as my work. For simple service, tires, etc. I more than likely will use Motorcycles Unlimited, since Patrick is close to my house.
