TORO round 1 race - new terrain for me

This past weekend I traveled NW to Bridgeport, West of Denton to race my first TORO race, this is a North Central Texas based series. The terrain up North is way different than what we are used to here in South Texas. The rocks really threw me for some loops. The elevation was excellent, there were just over 350 total riders for the weekend.

I have some stupid looking crashes but, what the video doesn't show is the actual size of all of the huge rocks in our path. The hill climbs were ridiculous, one hill is around 100' straight up and then straight down.

WARNING: there are some foul words throughout the video!

The race starts at around 3 mins

350 riders for the weekend! HUGE

As for BPM, I don't really know at any particular time, I did max out at 217 but my average was slightly lower than my normal at 179 IIRC. I tried to take it easy after each crash and not get into a big hurry to recover, I know that only causes more mistakes at times.
