three days of trackriding

for $310, at the Jennings GP track in FL (sat, sun, mon). Hmmmm I may be making a road trip this summer. I may need to get the toyhauler for this one.

wow they have mock races after lunch break, now thats different. No racing license needed.

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee but 310 is just the beggining......i bet total costs will be more like 1k.

lots of fuel to drive there and back, hotels, food misc b/s. but it sure sounds good..

its feasible if you get 2 or more people to go to split gas and lodging. heck even food is cheaper when you have a goup hehehehe........dollar menu anyone? =X

long you weren't far off.

trackday: 310
fuel: 300 (150 each way, 64 gallons of diesel)
hotel: 170
food: 75

Total: $855

I looked at barber, and its an expensive track period. Trackdays are going for 200 for one day there. I looked at jennings cuz its for bikes only, its 2 miles, and the track looked pretty nice (guess no cars to tear it up). I'll keep looking though.

I looked at the track video for Jennings. It is hard to tell if there are elevation changes or anything.

I think i also added in there knick knacks for the bike costs, three day of track is some more fuel and maybe a set of tire.

Jennings is a really nice track, probably better than what you're used to. It's glass smooth and very safe. Flat though. Camping is free and they have power outlets/showers if you feel like saving on the hotel costs.

But seriously, if you're going to do a big road trip, do Barber. Ignore the cost, it's worth it. Simply an amazing track/facility. Save a little on gas too.
