A track only version with the motor from the 250 sx or 450 sx-f and about 20 fewer pounds would be the ticket.

I wonder if since they are allowing the 300 Ninja into the 250cc class in CMRA if they will allow the 390 single.

Your missing the point of their design. They were aiming for riders to be able to get something sporty with only an A-2 license.
