I haven't had a cage for some time so I don't really have a choice. Either way it's never anything more that a few layers can't fix here in Houston. Just have to beat into my head to monitor my tire pressure more frequently.

Anything below 70 is to cold... be smart and don't try to venture off all nilly when temperatures are at that point where it's to cold to go outside.. but not cold enough to start a fire. Save the poor motorcycle those frigid temperatures. Lock it up tight and put salt all over the ground around it to prevent it from slipping when the ice comes -.-

true story ^

hahaha there's no winter here. I remember a few years ago when I first moved here it snowed and the whole city shut down... it wasn't even sticking on the roads. The next time it snowed and actually stuck, I was passing people in my s2000 with summer tires on my way to the gym. People in their sub-urban assault vehicles were driving 10mph with their flashers on.

Personally, I have found that 38* is my limit.

The only problem with riding in the rain here, is Houston cage drivers DO NOT know how to drive in the rain. They go Full when it rains! It also never gets really cold here! I usually won't ride if it's below freezing.

...oh, and I've lived here all my life.

I ride rain or shine, hot or cold. Some times it sucks but you do what you gotta do.
