Maybe they're dropping the 300. Doesn't really make sense to have so many bikes only 100cc apart though.

If the price point is the same with more power and the same mpg, there's no reason not to ditch the 300. Not sure how much damage Honda did to Kawi's small bike market, but if Kawi can sell more 400's than they can 300's vs. Honda's 250 sales, they're gonna do it.

This probably won't hit the states. I think they've done this in the past by sleeving the ninja 650. A lot of other countries have tiered licensing where it makes sense to have a bike right at the limit for each tier. I believe the ninja 400 is designed to do just that.

This would make a lot of sense. Plus the 250 is at 4-4.5K MSRP, so this would likely be somewhere in the 5-6k range. At that point, you're looking at a few year old 600.

Honda's actually dropping the CBR250 in favor of a 300cc version. I wonder if this has anything to do with that.

Those bikes kinda look ugly (IMO).

300's are MUCH MUCH better styled.

I like my 300 .. looks like the 400 gets suspension adjustments like a 650 since its a scaled down model. Would be nice on the 300
