This is the thread in which to talk about it. If you want to respect those riders who have died, then you should make a new thread that states in the first post that bashing riders is not acceptable.

To be fair - we don't know what happened to this guy, but time and experience tells us that he was riding way too fast and being irresponsible when he met his demise. We don't hate this man, but we do realize that his death was most likely his own fault.

I'm willing to bet that most of us ride a little too fast, and could be in his position, but in this instance we were not. After you're here a while and you lose friends to the streets, you'll get a little more hardened when you read these threads. Unfortunately, too many riders die on Wednesday nights/Thursday mornings here in Houston, because of the thrill of riding the loop in <10 minutes.

That whole area of 610 is screwed up. I almost hit this strangely placed divider a few weeks ago in that exact spot. At this point it just seems like negligence on the city's part. Im not saying they are responsible for this event, but the placement of their dividers does seem to cause more accidents.
