I only ride at night coming home from work. The later it gets, the more leary I get cause of drunks and wandering critters on the road.

RIP to the rider and remember folks, our bikes may not cause damage like a semi truck can, but that doesn't mean you can't hurt someone else.

Fortunately the driver was not hurt, but that could have been much worse if there was more traffic.

When I first got on here racerx and I had a disagreement over threads like these. I thought he was an . Now I've just come to expect these threads on Thursday mornings and usually don't feel bad when I read them. Mostly because there's usually alcohol, evading, or other jackassery involved causing the wreck. And I'm not going to feel bad for someone who pretty much brings it upon themselves. Y'all be careful this weekend.

Maybe it was someone who was challenged to try that 610 crew bullshit.

I think some riders feel the freeways are safer late at night due to less traffic. Problem is, there is so much other to watch out for, people (cagers too) fail to watch out for other dangers.

Why would you open the door? Is it your duty to police the people? Mad that you were stuck in traffic and he was not?

Typical Thursday... RIP
That's my exit and entrance to the hwy. EVERY week someone hit that thing. I've seeing twice right in front of me. They try to exist at the very last second or not paying attention and the car drift a bit to the right and hit the thing with the pedal on the gas. At night things get worst because there are no lights on the freeway on the lights from you vehicle.

Nope. Not my job which is why I didn't. If there's traffic he's allowed to split lanes? RIP to the rider.

I hate reading it over and over.

Really, you guys are going to argue over lane splitting on a thread where someone is dead? Have some respect for a fallen brother.....

We can all make assumptions of what happened, his fault or not, out of respect to him, take it to another thread...

So you say it's sad news but you have thoughts of injuring another rider? Not cool.
