I think Honda made a turbo bike in the 80's as well.

I have to applaud the ideas from two decades ago. They paved the way for the a$$ whoopin' that modern technology laid upon them. Those bikes are heavier, with carburetors and antiquated suspensions. Very few modern advances are the result of perfecting previous research. If riders felt differently, they would be riding "Top Gun" bikes instead of SS bikes from the last half-decade.

Was it set up to use upstream turbo vacuum to pull pressure from the crank case ? Pulling oil vapor and mist could cause that.
