First of all I want to state that I have ridden with several BORC members.

I have had my own experiences on the track and street. Along with my fair share of wrecks.

In these rides that I have engaged in I always rode at my own pace. I was never pressured or encouraged to ride faster that I was comfortable doing on the street. In fact they patiently waited on me to catch up. I personally know a few BORC members. Meet up for lunch on work days, ride to meets together, etc. Some are great guys that do not condone riding outside ones comfort and more importantly ones skill.

I would like to add that I did several of Newriders Noob rides. And people went down in those all the time. I myself was taken out in a corner by another rider in 2011. Its nothing to do with the BORC community. But about the maturity level of the members of this forum.

To many people "talk the talk" and then crash trying to walk the walk. No we do nothing you are cool or give you any recognition for it.

I agree with Mantoe. People need to relax. Talk about moto related subjects. Ride to ride and not to impress others. In reality other members will think better of you for riding your own pace. Because smart members talk to each other about other riders, and they don't want to ride with people who don't ride responsibly or those who cause a danger to the group.

I have left many group rides due to other riders. I then go a ride by myself or another member who feels the same way.

Stop pointing the finger and ask... Do I ride like an asshat in a group setting? Do I push other riders beyond their comfort level?

The last thing I would like to say is this: The experienced riders are not the problem. Its everyone else who "thinks" they are good riders who do not have the experience or skills of others. Those are the ones that are dangerous. And those are the riders\members that should be helped or taught.
Bolded: inaccurate and slightly miss leading. You got taken out on a SMR on racers road.

and don't know which Noob rides you are referring to people wrecking all the time, only one that comes to mind is CUZ and that was barely anything serious. He went off road at almost walking speed.

another ride was not a Noob ride, but moderate pace and Wesley passed, he however was a seasoned rider that made an unfortunate mistake.

Don't recall people going down all the time out of the many many rides we did.

Now I have to go back and look though a bunch of old photos.

I distinctly remember riders going down in a Noob friendly ride to Fayette. And once near Yankees that I was on.

I thought back and you are correct, I was taken out in a SMR ride on Racerroad. Im sorry

Wat.

Also I tried to PM you but it wouldn't send, so I posted in one of your threads.

Was just trying to draw your attention to it since I had noticed your avi while browsing the forum and was in the same brigade. Guess the 2 smiley faces included in the post wasn't obvious enough to show that I was joking when I said fool.
