Not Moto related but need urgent advices regarding garage opener

I know this thread isn't in the right category but I need advices on my garage motor before some dumbass gets a hold of my garage opener and rob my place.

So my chamberlain clicker fell off my bike today. My concern is that its gonna be picked up by a criminal and who might go around neighborhoods to see which garage will open.
I am not very knowledge about garages and such. I know I have a Linear Garage Motor, can I reset the motor to erase all the remotes that have been programmed so that lost remote won't be active anymore???

Instructions shiuld be on the back of the opener. Most of the time you hold the red or green button down for a certain amount of time

Your opener's manual should be online, google the make and model number and read up on how to do it with the correct unit instead of whatever general non-specific advice you'll find here.

From now on, keep the remote in your jacket pocket

This. It's SOOO nice to just open and close with the flash of the brights while riding down the street.

I left the button on the wall, and just 'double wired' the flash2pass right onto the opener itself.

Get a stool to stand on so you can look on the side of the motor head. Most have instructions directly on them. If not, read the model numbers and look up on line. Most systems allows you erase all codes then relearn each remote you have.

I carry a keychain universal remote with 3 buttons on it so I can operate up to 3 doors (I have 2). You can buy them at sears or home depot, Lowes or amazon. More convenient if you have more than 1 bike.

When in doubt... unplug it and open and close manually
