What size of Alpinestars leather jacket do you wear?

So I tried on an alpinestars leather jacket my friend have and it fits me well. His jacket was in size 40US which is the same as 50EU. So I wanted a jacket like his and saw this guy selling one on craiglist in size 40US. I met up with the guy and tried on the jacket.
I saw the guy and my first impression was "there's no way his jacket will fit me" cause he was like 5'5 and about 130. I'm 5'10 at 160. So of course his jacket didn't fit me.

My question is that do alpinestars carry different sizes in different models? The jacket my friend have doesn't have a hump and the one I saw on craiglist does. Will that make a difference in size?

Sport, cruiser, and adventure type jackets are all cut somewhat differently. Also, how a jacket fit on you may depend on how much stretch fabric material it has and in what area. Besides, a used leather jacket could have been broken in more too.

Given your size, I'm surprised you were even looking at 40US. I have a A* Moto GP leather jacket 42US and it fit my 5'7" 175lbs lump like a glove.
