Out of business! Word is Wild West is getting the franchise. Might call them and ask.

I am in a bit of a huge pickle, and if any of you know anything more about what's going on with the franchise, or happen to have a way to find out, could you please let me know

Thanks everyone

To make a long story short they didn't do any paperwork on the bike. Essentially the owner lied to me so I'd like to do the moral thing and get it taken care of. But because they don't answer complaints or there phone I'm having a hard time being the good guy. The title wasn't transferred to the finance company and the finance company doesn't have it. The state says it was never transferred and the finance company doest have the contract. So I can choose a variety of options some in my favor...but it's not the right thing to do. So I'm trying to find whoever owns the franchise or is affiliated with it so we can be sure the bike gets paid for.

Finance company called me back and told me they needed to get someone else on the issue and that they would call me back tomorrow. So I guess I just wait until then.

My thought is that with no paperwork being done (and therefore no payment), it's also impossible to register the bike past the temp tags as there was never any title paperwork.

Man, I've heard of stuff like this happening, but it's usually when a dealership shuts down after taking someone's money without doing the title paperwork. Good luck to you on getting it sorted out.

Bonded title , keep that . You could see it as karma looking out for you. Not your fault they were lazy.

+1

Or they were crooked and it worked out for you. Maybe they were going to give you the thick pickle but it backfired and worked out well for you. I sure wouldn't make payments if the finance company doesn't have the title.

Here at Wild West Honda we are attempting to purchase the Yamaha franchise only and move Yamaha to our current location. It's been a slow process, but everything is starting to happen. The Yamaha rep was here yesterday. However, until we have a Yamaha dealer # we are not the new Yamaha dealer. Our deadline is Nov. 22. If we don't have a dealer # by that time the deal is off. Once again, only buying the Yamaha franchise. We are not taking any work in process from Katy Yamaha or any deals in process. Their reputation has not been great and we don't want to be associated. We do hope to offer Yamaha customers on the West side much better customer service. I've always been a Yamaha fan, I hope it all comes together as planned. We will also be undergoing a major remodel to make room for another line of product.

I spoke to wildwesthonda this morning. They are in the process of working on the take over, but it's not there's just yet. Ether way there is nothing they can do.

Im still waiting on a call from the finance company, a bonded title would be ideal... but no matter how you look at it, that's 8k im just getting for free. I need to at the very least try to see what the finance company wants to do before i bond the title.

Unfortunately I think waht's going to happen is the finance company isn't going to take the hit on paying tax title and license, and expect me to. At the same time, they probably know i can bond the title. Who knows, I'll give it to the end of the day and see if they call back.

Thanks for your help fellas
