Responsible Riders

Ok, how am I going start this thread!

Long story short, I used to ride like there's no tomorrow. I came from Memphis, TN and the roads there are badass. We used to meet up every Wednesday's night then ride around town. I could remember that our average speeds were between 130-150. Passing cars at clover leaf (clover leaf is where two highways intersected) and weaving in and out in traffic like maniacs. Went between 18 wheelers at high speed. Pooping wheelies like we were badass. Have to be in front of all the cars when it comes to red light.

Now that I am married, have a family of my own, and a career that I love, I still love to ride as it is my passion; however, I ride responsibly and obey the laws. Anyone here who thinks like me and would like to ride to enjoy the breeze Nd the sound of the engine, let me know.

I'm free on Sunday afternoons.

That's why I'm glad I didn't get into sport bikes until I was older and wiser. Not that it stopped me from riding like that, it was just on a very rare occasion under certain very clear road conditions.
Glad you made it this far in life relatively unscathed and hopefully with no record to speak of.

I'm riding less the older I get. I still enjoy riding, just not like an with something to prove. TN does have some nice roads.

Nice avatar btw.

It's that old adage..

There are guys that ride fast
There are old guys that ride

There are not too many old guys that ride fast

MOST people on here don't ride stupid. Especially in a group setting and around traffic/city.
Now, once the "group ride" has ended and everyone is heading home, I've seen people care a little less.
