You stay in hotels or camped on the way? If so you leave you bike out at night or sneak into a hotel room?

Always hotels when by myself. I always get a first floor motel and at least pull it up on the side walk outside my hotel window and put my disk lock alarm on it. If that is not an option I bring it in the room. This trip I was able to leave it outside. The only place that was really crappy was the motel I had in Amarillo. I was looking out my peep hole with pistol in hand every hour all night long.

Was just wondering. I would never get any sleep leaving it outside. , when I was taking my car drag racing out of town I would just sleep in the trailer at the track. Never would trust a hotel.

That looked like an awesome trip. Props for rolling alone. I made a similar trip on a 1200 GS across the west through AZ. Bike was incredible. Like you said hundreds of miles were nothing. Thanks for sharing.
