Makes me want to use a dremel tool to put strategic scratches on parts like the rotor, forks, etc., that you might be able to spot in photos on craigslist.

I'd like to think they wouldn't want my old bike, but you never know.

UPDATE!!!! I posted signs around my apt complex and got a call today. A guy was coming home from work when he noticed a box truck (similar to a U-Haul truck) parked next to my bike. He said it was white and looked a little dirty. When he passed it he noticed two taller black men moving my motorcycle into the truck. He thought this seemed fishy to him. So he looked for a license plate but there wasn't one on the front and the back plate was blocked by the ramp. These were wearing white t shirts and one had a small afro, and the other had short dreads. Keep your eyes out for this truck if anymore info comes up I will post.

Good info. There was another thread about a gsxr600 almost got stolen. The suspicious veh in that crime was a White GMC cargo Van that has Comcast sticker near the plate. Ask your neighbor again and show him the picture of the Van to serif it's the same Van.

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=266027

I did get the correct plate on it which was "BXW4710" It was a 2000 GMC Van that registered at an address near 7400 Wiley Rd (can't give out the actual add as it is confidential in what I do, sorry)

You might want to call auto theft division and update your report with the witness info and summary of what he told you...

If I do find these guys and they have parted out my bike. Is there any level of retaliation that is considered going to far?
