I'm not gonna say a 557 won't put out but 1000+hp sounds a little exaggerated for N/A. If it would bring 20k+ it wouldn't be for 12.5. Sounds like a sham.

This is an example of a 557 with 13.5 compression and less hp.

There is a 883 sportster and theres a 1200 sportster
1200 sportster has about 72-78 hp but can easily make 90+-hp with a few upgrades
But the torque is what gives it advantage, due to the torque my 1200 Nightster beats almost all 600cc at 1/8th mile track (I only have programmer, pipes and air intake and only 5 gears with 16'' apes haha)

62 Hp for the 1200's - 40 hp for 800's I think. Could be misinformed

Nah its all good man, HMP is where i have already proved what I need to prove on a couple of bike nights there a couple years back with some guys on this forum TWC
According to 95% of dynos, which they all differ 10+- hp but avg around 70hp or so and around high 70s with Pipes, A/C and programmer
883= around 55hp
1200= around 70hp

Ya I was probably just misinformed 70hp seems more realistic. I like harleys and would definitely cruze a sportster around but I have my eye on the flat white v rod -got my kicked few times by "harly jack" at Hmp on my stock 6. I think his et's are flat 6's

Price is $12,500 OR TRADE FOR HARLEY

(I'm a heterosexual male so please don't ask me if I'll trade for your Sportster). If you can't afford it, have a nice day.

My number is 210-551-FIVE-EIGHT-NINE-SEVEN. Please feel free to text me or leave a message. I'll call you back as soon as possible.

This engine was built for a project dragster but was never installed. It's fresh and ready for whatever hotrod project you may want it for. Similar engines builds list for over $25,000 on E-Bay and they're only putting out 920 horsepower. Mine is putting out well over 1000 horsepower without any power adders and with 12.5:1 compression. This engine is built about as strongly as a big Ford engine can be built and was prepped to have nitrous if you later wish to add it.

ENGINE:

D1VE-A2B block, 4.44 bore, 4.5 stroke; 557 cubic inches
12.5:1 static compression
Hawk's Racing Stroker kit "N":
Forged/Internally Balanced crankshaft
6.8" Forged H-Beam rods
Forged Speed Pro 18.5cc dished pistons
C9VE heads/P&P, studs, guideplates, 5 angle valve-job
Stainless Steel Ferrea Super Cobra Jet valves
Comp Cams Mechanical Flat Tappet cam (CCA-K34-343-4)
Crane Gold series 1.73:1 roller rockers (CRN-27750-16)
3/8" hardened pushrods
MSD 6AL ignition
MSD Pro-Billet distributor
MSD Blaster-3 coil
Chrome plated 130amp 1-wire alternator
MSD 9mm wires
Weiand tunnel ram (WND-1993)
Weiand linkage kit (WND-4027)
Speedway "Shotgun Bill" scoop
Weiand aluminum water pump
March aluminum underdrive pulleys
Twin Barry Grant Speed Demon 650 mech. sec. carbs
Hedman Super Comp HPC coated headers
Holley 110 lbs./hr mech. fuel pump
Fluidampr 7.25" harmonic balancer (FLU-720201)
ARP 12pt head bolts (ARP-255-3701)
Carbon X-Headers gaskets
Canton billet main cap support girdle
Canton windage tray

TRANS:

C6 w/B&M Street/Strip valve body
2600 stall TCI converter
Lokar 23" shifter

The guy is a douche. I ride a sporty that just plain hauls the mail.

The whole refrence to a girls bike is a played out argument that most people who know squat about Harleys can agree is .

You know, it's okay if this guy wants to have a bigger bike for what he is looking to trade. But I know a number of guys who own Sportsters, and they're not exactly the limpwristed type. They trick them out like nobody's business, frequently going for the old-school look. One guy has his all black, red and white, with STP sticker and that kind of look. It's a very cool bike. They aren't going to ride them cross country, but they are some great showpieces.

I plan to build one out myself within the next 6 months. I've saved up 3 grand for the base bike, so almost ready to get it.

he is more about his percieved image than about his ride. There are two harleys in my yard, one road king and one sporty. Each a fine bike it their own way. He sounds like a with out a bike.

Mostly just lol at claiming over 1000HP with ported C9VE Ford cast iron heads and a cam that's middle of the road bracket racer motor material. Riiiight. 12.5 is probably a little on the high side for that particular cam grind as well based on what Comp says (they recommend 10.5:1).

And the biggest bwaahaahaahaa on the page - $800 Chinese stroker kit from EBAY? -yeah, this guy paid for dyno time to find out it's making well over $1000 HP... Sure...

There's a reason that this engine isn't one of those "$25,000+ engines" - it isn't as well built and isn't worth it.
