After a little trial and error, Sutton discovered his creation is happier running off of liquid propane gas instead of gasoline. Years of hard work finally paid off when he recently started his monster creation for the first time. The elegant radial fires with a puff of smoke before before settling into a perfect hum. Unfortunately, the success is quickly marred by the sound of mechanical failure

you need to watch the rest of the vids, he has it fixed. things like this might go boom early and changes have to be made.

its ok to be different if you can afford it. I would be just as eccentric, I mean, it is a wild set up he created, I dig it and it will be something that will be around long after him.
Its like the piece of brass I took and spun it into a come and take it replica cannon, before it was just metal, now its something that will never be changed or destroyed. Nobody will pick this cannon up in later years and say "hhmmm, we can melt that down and make door knobs"...it will always and forever be a cannon long after I am gone and forgotten.

When he's done with the motor, he could put it back in a bike- like this guy from Germany. Quite possibly the most terrifying, and yet most intriguing, thing I've seen on 2 wheels.

"only" a 9 cylinder... I was really hoping he'd used 9x 600cc 4-cylinders to build a radial 36 cyl.

very cool. I'm constantly impressed by these guys who can do this type of fab work, not to mention the design and planning that goes into it.
