Sorry to see you in this position man, wish I was in the position to help on the 954. Heal up soon. Was whoever hit you at fault? If so hope she has good coverage, you should be able to recover medical, lost wages, and your vehicle up to her applicable limits. I "know a guy" if you need assistance in the legal dept..

These are copays WITH insurance. No one will do third party billing anymore.

We will get it all back, but have to pay up front now.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.

Trooper, she was 100% at fault. They have accepted that. She has liberty mutual, not some $5 back street policy. I have "a guy" thing covered. I have a bad feeling about my back. I haven't been too chipper these last few days.

5 MRIs this morning. 180 minutes of laying on a hard surface and not moving. Wow that sucks. 3 more to come (probably next week). We should have the results of all of these in Friday. It will be nice to have some answers!

Sorry for your recent misfortunes; but I can't stress the importance of having supplemental insurance policies. AFLAC! My wife and I have 4 different policies, one that covers cancer, short and long-term disability, emeregency and accident. It is expensive at $90 a month for each of us; but it has saved our before so it has paid for itself in the 3 years we have had it. They will pick up everything that your main insurance does not. The claims forms are submitted and in less than 5 days you have the checks from AFLAC. Something to consider; becuase you never know.

Starting to go stir crazy. Can't drive, can't ride, and can barely walk. Who has a time machine? Set it for October 11, and strap me in!

Be patient with the recovery. I know that's easier said than done but I've been there. Fused c4-c5 in '94 and had a tumor removed from t6-t7 in '93.

The issue with the hand is probably related to the cervical nerve passing between the vertebrae. Should get better. It'll never go completely away. Well, mine didn't anyway, but the fusion narrowed the channel. Try to avoid fusions if you can.

I go for more tests tomorrow. I was In The hospital for the 4th time over the weekend. I have no sense of balance, and often have double vision. The walls keep attacking me!
