I'll be there. I park in the pay parking that's the only way I park. I leave any time I want.

"I THINK you had to have a pass to park on the strand. but you can ride down it free. Beware... you act stupid, cops WILL be on you.
There's lots of free parking around the area, and several of the lots charge $5-$10 to park.... and RAKE it in, 4 bikes to a spot, then fill the aisle leaving just enough space to get through"

In order to ride down the Strand or park, you will have to purchase a sticker @ the entrance to the Strand.
(Last year $10) they put it on your windshield for all Weekend. I advise against parking on the Strand unless, you plan on being there all day & night. once parked you will be blocked in.

I'll be down there on one of my Custom Bicycle Beach Cruisers, its the best way to get around down there & see everything close up!

We also like to park in the gated lots you pay to park in; usually w cable locks through our jackets and helmets so we can keep them on the bikes. Feels more secure since there are several workers per lot; always someone around.

Im scheduled to work that Saturday until 4pm; so im not sure what the plan will be and if there is one. But if we do go, always a smaller group these days and we're coming from the northside.
The Saturday ride is the one.... We met on raceway 2920, then was at shell westheimer, 12- 1... Then they did some bike tricks in the parking lot, then we left bout 65-70 strong with tricks along the way. Took 610 west to 45 south and blocked of 45 for 5 minute tricks and but outs... When we got to G town we spilt up, but north side hung together...

It kinda takes the whole island... but theres two strips, strand and seawall.

If you're new to riding... make sure you are comfortable around large groups and crowded areas.
