Really? They will reimburse me for a Brembo MC along with labor charges?

My factory master is super spongey and I've bled it several times, lever still goes to the bar. I'd like to get the factory one replaced to put on if I ever decide to sell the bike.
try calling a different dealer. I called K's, gave them my vin over the phone, they ordered the part and told me that they would call when it comes in.

K's has been a disappointment so far. They didn't call me when the part came in. When I showed up for my 930am appointment I was told that it would take 2hrs for the job and they wouldn't be getting the bike into service until 10, not a big deal. I told them I'll stay in the area since I live 40 minutes away. Well I came back at noon and my bike was still sitting were I left it in the morning, it wasn't touched yet and the tech was about to go on lunch, at this point I was irritated. The service manager said that they didn't know that it was supposed to be done by noon. The tech did complete it before lunch and it only took him 45 minutes.

Seems like there is a lack of communication between the employees, I do give them props for trying to make it right and getting my bike done right away.

I've already bought a brembo mc and installed it... I'd still like to have the factory master replaced... That way if I ever sell the bike I could put a good working master and keep the brembo.

I've been wondering why they haven't called me. It's been like 2 weeks. I'm going to call up there tomorrow.

I ended up buying and installing a Brembo on the 600. The stock one is in a box. I miss the shorty lever, but the Brembo makes up for it 110%.

I called after 2 weeks and they had it. I'm assuming they received it within a week but nobody bothered to call me.

Called them earlier today. Said the part came in already but no one called. Guy I spoke to said they're backed up this week so I set an appointment to come in next Tuesday.

Tony ai replaced mine last year after it failed. I cslled suzuki in conroe. I explained to a guy in the service department named mike what my issue was. He asked for me to give him my vin number and he placed an order. He said he would call me when it got in and I could just bring my old mc off the bike and he would exchange the part. I would give them a call and not even worry about that other dealership. Ask for mike.

Mmm... I called Stubbs 59 and I can confirm that they need to check your bike before they proceed to order the part, but you DO NOT have to leave the bike with them. You can sign the waiver, indicating that you acknowledge the risks of riding with the recalled master cylinder. She said 2 week wait, and you can bring it in when they are ready.

I had the recall performed a couple of weeks ago and now my bike (K8 GSXR 750)rides like the brakes are on and then it just releases after a few minutes of riding. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was because of my aftermarket ASV levers. Master cylinder replacement will only work with stock levers. I asked if I could put the old parts back on...no deal. He said it was safe to ride though. I really wasn't having any issues but wanted to play it safe. Well, it's really not safe now. I don't like the stock levers and I was thinking of going to talk to Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited to see if he can see what the problem is. Dang it!!!
