NO WONDER why I wrecked my 2005 GSXR600 when the front brake failed. Holy ...I knew something was wrong with that front brake! Might have to sue also...

How much did the brembo cost?

I have a r1 master on my bike now. Might go get a new master because its free.
My master had so much air in it and I had to bleed it before every trackday or race.

I really don't use my brakes much .. Except on the track.. Now I have ridden bikes with Brembo brakes and I could tell the difference right away... No spongy feel ... bite was so instant. I could scrub off 100 mph in a second or two of braking ... That's insane... Took me a little getting used to..

Those first 2 seconds of braking could mean life or death on the street...

I should consider upgrading my front brakes... Any responsible rider should..

Just an update: I received my recall notice in the mail yesterday, and it does state that they will reimburse costs associated with having already replaced a defective MC. Just need to send them documentation.

Anyone know where you can take your bike to have the MC replaced?

Fwiw, you can pick up a stock used one off a Yamaha pretty cheap. Shoot me a pm if interested and I'll see if I can't find you one.
Hmmm my 07 750 race bike still has the same master on it since new and never had a problem with any of that.

Any Suzuki motorcycle dealer can take care of it. I'm having K's Motorsports replace mine.
You will have to wait a week or two for the new MC to come in.

I called Stubbs about doing the recall on mine, they stated I would have to bring the bike there so they could order it, has to be ordered by vin number and takes at least a week to come in. They said Id have to leave my bike there the whole time. I don't trust leaving my bike anywhere and like to do my own work on the bike so I ended up just replacing mine with a Brembo RCS.

My factory master is super spongey and I've bled it several times, lever still goes to the bar. I'd like to get the factory one replaced to put on if I ever decide to sell the bike.
