It's two different bikes. The first is Ben Bostrom's Superstock bike. The 2nd is Eric Bostrom's Superbike.


I don't get the reason for relocating it either. Maybe to make room for a beefier swingarm? :dontknow:

I know why they moved it....

The heat from the exhaust was probably heating it up causing a less than favorable condition when entering the first turn out of the straight. If it heats up, the brake fluid boils out and then you got nothing.

That and the peg position was limited due to the master cylinder hitting the exhaust. They moved it as you can tell.
