06 gsxr 750 wont start

Ok so I have this gsxr that I have had for a while now and starting to get it all put back together but I cant get it started no click no nothing the ignition switch is fine but on the starter relay I have power going in and power when hitting the ignition but no power coming out to starter so I jumped it and it started turning over so I took the starter relay off my gsxr 1k to see if it was the relay but did the same thing I know by battery is slowly dieing but even with a jump start from my battery tender the ignition still wont do anything not even dim the headlights

Hey Rick, those year gsxr's are notorious for stator, regulator/rectifier problems..

If I jump it the starter will engage I just didn't think it could be that relay because I swapped it with the one from my bike and it didn't do anything diff and it was working on my bike the last time I started it

Are you getting a positive 12 volts input into the start circuit on the relay from the starter button?

If you can't figure it out you should run it by m/u so they can diagnose the problem
