I was reading about this in a few pther forums and I was surprised how many people are under the opinion that you should NEVER take anyone's life to protect your property. You shuld always give the thieves what they want, never try to ever protect yourself and leave it to the authorities, lethal force should only be allowed by law enforcement.

Some people live in a fantasy world.

Heres a few excerpts:

I don't know about you, but I would think, gosh, I can't believe a guy, with a life of his own, had to die. I should have just let it happen and reported it.

is nobody getting the fact i don't give a rats how hard you worked for stuff or how hard it is to replace because it's still not worth another human being dying over?
Quote:
If they had the intention of killing you, they'd do it before they robbed you. it makes the robbery easier for them. but if they don't, they just want your stuff and not to kill you.

Never draw a gun on someone robbing you. Not ever. It's the dumbest thing you can do. Nobody's saying the robber is just. But nobody has to get hurt in a bad situation like that.

If no one stood up for themselves then imagine how bad it would be. No one could own anything and a civilized life wouldn't be possible. You have to stand up for what you believe is right and if taking a life is sadly a part of it time to time and may be the only way of people understanding the consequences.

Part 1....I guess all those times on a scene where the statement was similiar to, "They said gimme you wallet and I did, then they shot me.".....Maybe the intent to kill was not there?

And Bluewave, trufe!
