Yes, the sound of the RSV4 is AMAZING. I started out behind one on a group ride... made sure to hang around it the remainder of the ride... just to listen.

I think I offered him more than that to buy it back at one point. He will never sell it and probably hasn't ridden it in a year. He will probably have his family bury him with the bikes.

The older gen RSVs and Tuonos are so cheap because there were leftover new models around for years. They had warehouses full of excess stock for a long time. I bought mine new for $9k out the door. So asking price was around $7,500 and MSRP was $13k.

Same thing with Husqvarnas. There have been so many leftovers for the last two years that the resale value has plummeted on some models. You can get a brand new wr300 or wr250 for $4k. The 250 four strokes are sometimes even cheaper brand new.
