NYC Tuesday Bike Night @ Ear Inn

There is a bike night in the big apple every Tuesday.

Ear Inn is the oldest tavern in New York City since 1817.

You would think there won't be many bikes in Manhattan.

But in fact, there are a lot of exotics (lots of Europeans), motards, sports tourers, cafe racers and collectables.
(No, these bikes have nothing to do with those hooligans on West Side Highway)

I stopped by last Tuesday to take a look at this particular bike.

Two strokes been in my heart since I saw Mick Doohan was ripping on 500 in early 90's.

Closest to my dream, NSR250.

The owner was so nice.

He let me sit and kick start the bike.

I could smell that exhaust til I pass out!

Finally, wee were together!!

Food was pretty decent, too.

Hung out fellow Repsol owner.

Yeah, I cheated a little.

Other fun bike!

So, if you happen to be in the city on Tuesday night,

make sure to check out Ear Inn.

Looks like fun. I can't wait to go back to NYC. Might get to go on business in about a month. I go nuts every time I'm there and only sleep 3 or 4 hours a night so I can only survive 3 or 4 days. LOL.

I rode my XJ650 all over NYC when I lived in the upper west side '85-'86. Back then, there was a multi-line motorcycle dealer midtown on the west side I used to ride down all the time. Bought most of my old riding gear there.

Brings back some great memories. Thanks.

There are still car and bike dealers along west side.

I lived in Minneapolis couple years between Houston and New York.
I stopped by Bob's Java Hut few times.
My only crash happened at T10, Brainerd International Speedway.
