Exclamation Track Tactics going out of business?

There's some rumors and speculation going on. I've heard nothing definitive though. I did notice on their site when you click on any of their events scheduled for the remainder of the year it says no events in this category. Thomas has resigned as regional director also. Looks like for those of us that have cw credits, or any other credits, we're getting the shaft. I cw 2 days at TWS (Texas World Speedway) labor day weekend and never even received an email with the credits anyway. The staff was top notch but it was the same staff most of us were used to anyway with other td organizations. Seems like the hierarchy business aspect of it is what's fishy. Sucks that some of us are losing money and time wasted. Something all to familiar with some of you that have gone through this before with past organizations. My first time, so this is an all new off experience for me lol.

Hmm... They do days all over the US... but Thomas resigning doesn't seem to be a very good sign. Interdasting!

That's what I was thinking. If they couldn't find a replacement for TA then we'd lose 3T for our region but if you click on any remaining events, even for other parts of the country it says no events.

Yeah I was supposed to corner work next weekend, but I got an email from Melanie saying it was canceled, and that she was "getting out of the track scene"

sucks for some people on here I know that have credits, and one I know that won a free day at the central meet and they wouldn't even contact him

That sucks. There are great people involved. I always wondered how all of these organizations made money, though.

First, let me say that I have no idea what's going on with Track Tactics. Seemed like they had gathered some really great locals to support, like Thomas.

I was around when "Texas Track Days" pulled out and let many great people holding the bag. The two brothers (forgot names) totally got away with it. They simply disappeared into the night. Really sucked.

simple, THEY DON'T!!

The market is unfortunately flooded with TD orgs, at least it definitely was a few years ago. Nowadays, it seems that you can only count on the 2 that have been around since the beginning of track day days.

I can think of 3. I always wish these people well, and hope they succeed, but I just dont see a big enough market to have 4 or 5 players involved, and all make money.

The Texas Track Day brothers "borrowed" thousands of dollars from my sponsor and never repaid a penny.

I figured they couldn't have been making much.

I'm really glad this happened before I CW'd. I would have been if I wasted my entire Sunday for nothing.
