it's a full wrap fender from Low and Mean

the "stock" fender had some bootleg airbrushed skull/wings thing on it that made me sick to my stomach....

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

probably, but I have a weird habit of looking in the background of pics before I ever check out the subject matter.

NICE. I think it needs some red accents somewhere though. Black and red pinstriping would look sweet.

I powdered my wheels red to match my fairings... now debating leaving them red and making the fairings silver/graphite/etc.... this makes me want to do it even more.

lol - yeah, the 12715 address is my house.

the sun was waaaay too harsh so i moved my bike across the street to my neighbors house - she had shade since her garage faces East.

i'm "talking" with scootertrash right now getting details on powder coating and stuff.

it's hard to find a "one stop shop" that will pull rims, tires, powdercoat and re-assemble everything.....

yeah, i'm still tinkering with it.

the gas tank cover was going to have red sides, but i haven't figured out how i'm going to do it.

or maybe get a red cutout of "Raider" - the word Raider will be black because it will be cut out of the decal.

hard to get everything done at the snap of someone's fingers right ?? LOL

i've had my bike back from paint for 2 weeks - i'm still getting used to it.....

good thing is that if i decided to take the red pd off the rims, they would be polished and black

That's what I used Motorcycles Unlimited for.
I needed fork rebuild, oil change, new rim, new tires, and powdercoat.... dropped it off, and picked it up done.

As for accents on the cheap, You could play with car wrap... it's tricky at first, but gets easier once you watch some youtube how-tos. Watch some on "knifeless tape" too. It's very reversible, but won't fall off either.

You can get samples for ~$1 on ebay to see how well the color matches.

This was a few minutes work with knifeless tape, never used a blade on paint...
The green is the knifeless tape.

I had Tim (scootertrash) powder coat a set of rims red for me back in '08 and (by no fault of his) they started fading within about 6 months, eventually turning pink. I ended up spray painting over them with a black wrinkle because I couldn't stand to have pink wheels. Granted, the bike spent a lot of time outside in the sun, but that's bound to happen when you ride daily. Sticking with plastidip or something similar might not be a bad thing as it's both cheap and easy to reapply. Either that or pay the extra to get a UV clear coat applied, if he has one.

huh, my red wheels from Motorcycles Unlimited still look GREAT. Perfect match to fairings then and now.
Daily ridden, parked outside day and night for just over 10k miles / 1 year.

Not saying Scootertrash is bad... cause he's got great reviews (maybe a bad batch of powder?)... but a quality job is worth the money. I like not worrying about what cleaners I use on them (within reason), and they have proven to be durable.
